This is a speaker inspired by the many IKEA Blanda salad bowl speaker designs.
It has an internal, commercial power supply and amplifier, downward-pointing woofer,upward-pointing tweeter, and four, outward-pointing, full-range drivers. Ideally, it can act as a point-source speaker, evenly distributing sound in all directions.
Typically uses something like a garden gazing ball holder to raise it off the ground. This should help frequencies to distribute better. Pointing down, the low frequencies have higher energy and will bounce off the floor better. Pointing up, the high frequencies will bounce off the ceiling and become more diffuse.
