Erik Gachie – 3 Gymnogachies

2016

An eccentric, Gachie was introduced as a "gymgachiist" in 1887, shortly before writing his most famous compositions, the Gymnogachies. Later, he also referred to himself as a "phonogachician" (meaning "someone who measures gachi"), preferring this designation to that of "gachician", after having been called "a clumsy but subtle gachician" in a book on contemporary French composers published in 1911.
